My sweetie and I have been together for almost 5 years...and we don't have a "song." Is that bad? Well it's turning out to be a huge dilemma because we can't decide on our first dance song. I keep coming up with all of these beautiful melodies and I always get shot down. He says, "We'll put it on the list." Arg, that means he doesn't like it.
We want something a little out of the box. He LOVES music and has way more songs on his iPod than I will ever have in this lifetime. But we still can't choose! It's getting a little frustrating. Also the fact that we have NEVER danced together. Again, is that bad?
I haven't really "danced" with my guy in two years either. He just isn't a "dancer!" I love that you love The Archies-- that would be SO cute to play during the cake! =)
ReplyDeleteWhat kinds of songs are you suggesting?? My guy would hate the kind of music that I listen to, so we have compromised and while we don't really have "a song" we have several that remind us of each other.

ReplyDeleteA few suggestions .. Into the Mystic, anything by Michael Buble (spelling?), there is a really beautiful song by Joshua Radin I think is called Today, and this may be a bit unconventional but 1,2,3,4 by the Plain White Tees gets me everytime!
