This is my twin sister and I blowing out the candles on our birthday cake from last year. Tina (from Tina's Place) is on the left and I'm on the right!  We have gotten an ice cream cake from Dairy Queen probably since the age of 5.  We just can't seem to give it up :op

1.  Do you sing Karaoke?  If so, what's your favorite song?  

Hell. No.

2.  What is your favorite coffee drink?  

I always get a French Vanilla, Light & Sweet from Dunkin Donuts.

3.  If you could choose your own name, what would it be?  

I actually like my name, it was my grandmother's :o)

4.  Were you ever bullied?  

I was picked on, but never beaten up or anything.

5.  How often do you eat fast food?  
Once every couple of months, but I could eat a large #1 from McDonald's everyday, lol.

New snow boots!  Actually, the first pair I've ever owned!  I used to borrow my grandmother's with a wedge heel when I was a kid...you know the one's, Tina!

Air Plants...for people with a Black Thumb...a little water, no dirt, no joke!  I got mine from here.  I will be going back for more soon!

 

Anything Made by Lindt...we always have them in the house.  It's more of an obsession really.  Couldn't resist the carrots this time!

 

Here's one for my Sweetie Pie...he's totally into ice fishing right now, this is his bucket-o-gear.

 

And finally, we LOVE to hike in the snowy park right now.  I took this a couple of weeks ago, so peaceful :o)

Music Brain Fart

My sweetie and I have been together for almost 5 years...and we don't have a "song."  Is that bad?  Well it's turning out to be a huge dilemma because we can't decide on our first dance song.  I keep coming up with all of these beautiful melodies and I always get shot down.  He says, "We'll put it on the list."  Arg, that means he doesn't like it.  

We want something a little out of the box.  He LOVES music and has way more songs on his iPod than I will ever have in this lifetime.  But we still can't choose!  It's getting a little frustrating.  Also the fact that we have NEVER danced together.  Again, is that bad? 

Hopefully we'll get it together soon.  In the meantime...any suggestions?!!!

Wordless Wednesday - Sun Dog

 

A "Sun Dog" (I'm sure there is a technical name, but I like this one!) occurs when sun light passes through ice crystals in the atmosphere creating this beautiful reflection.  Can happen throughout the year, but more commonly in the winter months when the sun sits closer to the horizon.  This was taken from outside of my house :o)

Also, another blogger posted her Sun Dog picture today too...I'm not copying, I had been wanting to post this for a while!

Working Out

Ack.  So NOT my favorite thing to be doing.  I like being active by hiking or biking or playing Frisbee or any OTHER list of things.  But since it's been cold outside, I can't do much of that.  

I've taken to The Firm.  There are a couple of the DVD's that I can get through and I semi-enjoy how I feel afterward.  But I tried a new one today and I swear those girls must have taken a serious dose of Speed before filming.  I could barely keep up!  I'm not completely uncoordinated, but holy Chipmunks, Batman!  Slow down!!  So now I don't feel like I even had a work out today.  So annoying.

I gave a few Jillian DVD's a glance at the Wally World the other day (pre-Biggest Loser), but she's a beast.  I'm afraid that if I stare at her for too long she'll steal my soul.  I'm just looking to tone up a bit for the wedding/honeymoon, not be tortured to within inches of my life.  But I won't count it out if any of you guys suggest I give it a whirl.

Ooh!  Going to pick my e- ring up tonight!  I sent it out to have it spruced up.  It's white gold and needed to be touched up.  I've been wearing one of my mom's rings so I don't feel naked  :o)
